What This App Does

Gravity Forms Generator is an experimental tool that uses AI to help you create form templates for Gravity Forms, a popular WordPress form plugin. Simply describe the form you need in plain English, and the AI will generate importable JSON that you can use directly in your WordPress site.

You can also upload images or PDFs of existing forms, and the AI will analyze them and recreate the form structure. The tool includes a visual editor for fine-tuning fields, a template library with pre-built forms, and smart commands to enhance your forms automatically.

How to Use the Chat Box

The chat box is your primary way to interact with the AI. Here's how to use it:

Create a new form: Type a description like "Create a contact form with name, email, phone, and message fields" and press Enter or click the send button.
Modify an existing form: Once you have a form, you can type instructions like "Add a dropdown for department selection" or "Make the phone field required".
Upload form images: Click the attachment icon to upload images or PDFs of existing forms. The AI will analyze them and recreate the structure.

Slash Commands

Type / in the chat box to see available commands. These provide quick actions for common tasks:

/clear Clear the current form and start fresh. Use this when you want to create a completely new form.

/beautify Automatically enhance your form by adding section dividers and helpful field descriptions to improve the user experience.

/dynamic Analyze your form and suggest conditional logic rules. Shows/hides fields based on user responses for a smarter form experience.

/smarter Get AI-powered recommendations to improve your form's clarity, completeness, and user experience. Includes a quality score and actionable suggestions.

Targeting Fields with @

When modifying an existing form, you can reference specific fields using the @ symbol followed by the field name. This tells the AI exactly which field you want to change.

@Email - Target the Email field
@Name - Target the Name field
@Phone - Target the Phone field

Examples of using @ mentions:

"Make @Email required and add validation"
"Add a placeholder to @Name that says 'Enter your full name'"
"Move @Phone after @Email"
"Remove the @Comments field"

As you type @, an autocomplete dropdown will appear showing all available fields in your current form.
